I’ve used this place a few times and it’s always been good until now 22nd June, food was bland and sauce watery, nan bread soggy and under cooked It’s a real pain that you can’t get consistently from these takeaways, you think you find a good one …. Then bang your delivered something that’s fit for the bin Very Disappointed

Really enjoyed this: a nice change from our more local place. My jalfrezi was surprisingly hot but that’s okay: it’s supposed to be hot. Nothing worse than a dish that’s wimp! We will certainly order again and yes- I’ll have something less hot ???? (Note: the meal deal was terrific value for money- leftovers for lunchtime bosh tomorrow!!!)

Great service but the salmon dish I ordered wasn’t the same as last time I had it. The salmon wasn’t very good quality but the sauce was lovely. Really enjoyed the lamb chops and the other dishes were delicious apparently ????

I think this is my 6th order and I have been very pleased with my others, in particular the lamb has always been lean and tender. However, this order was completely ruined by the lamb in my jalfrezi - this was beyond chewy and was actually totally inedible. Needless to say I am very disappointed and will probably have to look elsewhere.

I have had a few takeaways from takemeout and they have all been very fresh and tasty. My only complaint about the food is that there is not enough chicken in the dishes, although there has always been a good helping of lamb. Another complaint concerns the delivery service which has been poor. I live in Foregate St and we have an intercom system but this seems to be beyond the ability of the delivery person. Despite this the pluses far outway the minuses and I will still continue to use takemeout.

Food was very good but delivery late as my mobile was off and the delivery person did not bother to use the intercom to contact me. So I only received my food on the third attempt! Also the person I spoke to regarding this was clearly not interested, indeed his attitude bordered on rudeness.

Unfortunately not for us. We had two main dishes - lamb Bhuna and veg dupiaza - both really bland and very salty not like the taste of the dishes we expected and have had many times elsewhere. Almost like a bland but salty gravy sauce with a chilli kick for both. First time ordering from here having had a flyer through the door which looked really appealing however sadly the food didn’t meet the promises of the flyer :( It arrived however well in good time and super hot which was fabulous however not for us - it may just be our personal preference but we’re v disappointed sadly
